Bring back the boots out!

I have a confession to make... while editing this post two days ago, having it ready for publish today, I had accidentally hit publish when saving it. Stupid me. And for a few minutes, it has been up on the blog, with a title "Call me, maybe", but without anything written. Oh well... if you guys have seen it, here it is again anyway.

It's these days that I'm enjoying my Lita-lookalikes. Of course how could I when I bought them over the summer? Very hot. And of course I went to travel and I'd rather not travel in chunky-heeled boots. But the weather has become slightly better, and in fact I've started storing up in shoes for the cold weather! Scratch. I meant Penguin made it possible! If you follow me on instagram, you would have already seen my new pumped up kicks, which I already love so much. Tried them on with dresses, skirts, shorts, skinnies, hah! They go with everything! And then I was able to acquire a pair of perfect looking chunky-heeled basic black ankle boots too, thanks to, again, Penguin for sharing the cost (You're the best love!)

You know what's funny, when I was working and had spare cash all the time, I was never able to buy what I wanted and needed as I usually ended up buying the little cheap things from the sales that I thought were worthwhile. But now that I'm not working and barely have spare cash lately, I'm surprised with how I'm able to acquire real investment pieces that aren't from the sales. I tell you, I really have wonderful people around me! The very best! I will show you these things once I'm able to take photos of them. They've made me even more excited for fall/winter to come! Game on!

P.S. In case you're wondering, I was really on the phone. My mom called in the middle of the shoot, but I liked the way it looked so spontaneous, haha.
