Hi hi awesome readers! So here's a more down-to-earth outfit to share with you all - no shocking colors, no funny hats... just a combination of casual pieces. It's what I wore for the usual Sunday routine, mass in the morning, family day, and everything in between. Brought back out the old denim jacket that I've had for ages but never wore on the blog -- You can look through my instagram (@misscarlaviolet) photos though, if you'd like to see me wearing them in another outfit. I'm glad I can wear thin layers now, although it's not advisable, it's workable with the right pieces. Finally wore this skirt too. You've seen them when I featured some new acquisitions previously but since then, I haven't had the chance to take it out. I had a minor problem with it you see, it doesn't fit right. It's either my tummy looks too bulgy when I wear it, or it's too puffy for its length. I don't know but either way, it's not what I expected. Still, it's a pretty skirt and I don't want to put it to waste, specially since I don't own' that many nude pieces.

On another note, how's your weekend been? I feel like mine just went by in a snap. Was able to fix my closet and go out with Penguin to look for stuff he wanted to buy, but for the rest of the days, I lazed out big time. Yep, that's how I roll. Don't be too judgmental... I think you can agree that we all have those lazy moments, don't we? Haha. But this week, I'll be a little busier with school stuff again so I don't feel so guilty. By the way, I'm going for a little trip again soon. Will let you know of the details when everything is set. =)
