I bring sunshine to a hazy day

Couldn't find a more suitable backdrop than this concrete mess to make my bold pants stand out in complete contrast. These photos were taken at a random area near my workplace. In reality, it isn't a very desirable place to shoot at, what with dirty building walls behind and uneven grounds. But I had that moment when I was like, "oh this would do", as Penguin and I walked about looking for a spot. Surprisingly the photos turned out well, and like I said, the background made my outfit stand out, don't you think?

I was feeling rather cheerful and I guess that it reflected on what I wore this morning. Very spring/summer in my opinion. I'm bored with wearing too much blacks to work, all corporate-ish, that my outfits needed to be spiced up a little. This floral shirt was my start-up piece. I think a lot could go with it (pinks and greens), but I opted for these bright yellow trousers, which I haven't worn in a while. Surprisingly, they seemed to fit me better than they used to. I remember complaining about how unflattering they looked on me, the main reason why I barely wear them. It must be the fold at the bottom, or having tucked a shirt in. I don't know. But if they look well now, why bother, right?
