Casual coolness and a random story

Please bear with my haggard face, I haven't had the time to put make up on, not even a dab of concealer to my puffy eyes even after having only slept for 4 hours in the last 24. And yet I still don't feel the least bit sleepy. Somebody help me, I think I'm insomniac! I tried so hard to sleep last night for the sake of waking up early to attend my very early shift at work today but it was rather impossible. So I went to work like this, looking somewhat shrunken. I'm not concerned though. For those who know me well, I'm not really big on make up save for the occasional parties and my every day concealer-foundation-mascara routine, which to me is an advantage. I'm not going to explain why because it contradicts with others' opinions, so let's leave it at that. But what I prefer to show you is my outfit of the day, which is a combination of casual black and white, and a little bit of coolness. 

Also, I wanted to show you this vintage Casio watch that Penguin and I bought on an impulse a few days ago! I haven't mentioned it but when he saw a series of vintage Casio watches on a tumblr site some months ago, he's been hunting for them since. He went to a Casio store where the staff told him they didn't produce these kinds anymore because they're old models. Tried buying online too, but shipping costs more than the actual watches. So the other day as we were walking around, actually talking about the watches and the prospect of finally buying online, we came across a very old watch shop that we know of but never really thought of. Looking at the displays, I spotted a similar design that's a lot smaller in size, possibly more for girls than men. Curiously, we asked the owner if he had anything similar to those on the the display but bigger and suitable for men, not really expecting the Casio ones, but rather only similar ones. Surprisingly he said yes and went to dig into some old boxes he had at the bottom of his counter. You can guess what he showed us - 3 different models from the vintage series! I said he was the one hunting, right? But seeing them in real life, I fell inlove with this piece and I immediately bought 1 for myself too. Penguin got the other model with black frames on the surface. I wish I could show you a photo but I haven't any. I found them online though, so if you dig it too, find mine here and Penguin's here.
