Trend Overdose

I've been AWOL, please bear with me. Sometimes we just need a break from everything (yes, blogging included) and keep to ourselves. We all need to take a breather once in a while and what Penguin and I did was we took a little excursion yet again to the closest place we know - Hong Kong, spending the whole day walking, sneaker-hunting, and for the most part, eating; days like those from back then when we could just hide from everything else and be in our own little world, that I truly miss. 

But anyway, I'm back with an outfit; one that I hate to admit but I think I overdid a little by paying tribute to every trend that I currently like; numbered shirts, floral, plaid, beanie, boots... I mean, one can only have too much, right? I'm just glad the look worked, but otherwise this must not be repeated. Potential "OMG, what was she thinking" moment. 

So this was what I wore on Sunday morning to church, before work. And I just remembered a funny thing that happened, which was really cute, in a way too. As I was walking out after the mass, I heard one of two little girls talking about me like "why don't you ask her to teach you how to be swag? Look at her, she's all swag".... while the other girl whom she was talking to was eyeing me. I just smiled at them, thinking to myself "really? what do they know about swag?" haha. Even I'm not sure what's that all about. Oh well. Little fashionistas in the making.
