Clockenflap Festival Visuals
Penguin and I had the chance to attend day-2 of Clockenflap - Hong Kong's music and arts festival, where we got to see one of our new favorite upcoming band, the 1975, and I can tell you for sure, we definitely had a blast! It's times like this that I appreciate living close to an eventful city like Hong Kong... and of course, it being easily accessible for us. Thankfully, my work schedule permitted, so even just for a day I was able to experience something close to one of my bucket list must do.
We took the ferry early in the morning as our plan was to return back during the night, but which I somehow regretted when we got back and thought that we should have stayed the whole weekend instead because there was just so much to see - the performers, the bands, the arts, the bazaar, not to mention the activities that can be done (thinking of the photobooth at Vans and the Silent Disco). Oh and don't get me started on the flippin' flappers (read: festival goers) and their clothes. I think I could have sat down in one corner all day and be satisfied just by looking at what people wore; I've never seen in my whole life that much stylish, trendy, fashionable, and fresh looking people all in one place together than in this festival. Definitely still reeling it in that I became a part of it!
Anyway, I leave you with the visuals from this recent escapade, although unfortunately they're not that much high quality because DSLR's weren't allowed in the venue and Penguin and I were stuck with no choice but to bring our lowly point-and-shoots. Still, photos are photos. I hope you enjoy!
Wow, looks like you had an awesome time!

Oooh, it looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I'm jealous of all the places you get to go to Carla :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, definitely check out Revenge! It's such a great drama tv series. I'm normally not that interested in that genre, but this one's got me hooked. The narrative and music they use are nice touches to the show as well.
The Dragonfruit Diaries
Nice pics!
ReplyDeleteOh, this looks like so much fun! I have a tendency to like music that... let's just say the artists don't really come to Canada all that much. So concerts are something that are rare for me, but I do love them! I absolutely love your t-shirt too! I've been on the hunt for some -t-shirts with saying, they can be so corny sometimes though! haha
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute girl! This all looks like SO much fun!!
