Day 4.

What else can make for an epic finale than attending a high-end designer show? Well, to be honest we were a little doubtful as to whether we'd be able to get in with our lowly media passes or not. I mean, we got to acquire tickets to every single show that went by except for this one. But then who were we to demand, right? It was, after all, a Vivienne Westwood show. I presume that only the relevant personalities of Hong Kong's fashion industry gets the invitation. However, with much determination (and a little skin thickening one might say), we were actually able to get in! Never mind having to stand with a flock of photographers and the media covering the fanfare -  it'll just have to be a part of the tale.

Let's rewind to the activities of earlier that day. While Penguin and I were able to squeeze in a quick breakfast at a local cha-chan-teng just down the hotel, the rest of the morning was spent lazily lying around in the hotel room, waiting for time to pass. We were to meet Chezka and Leon past midday, have lunch together, and then  do the usual - window shop, explore, a quick visit to Forever 21, before heading to HKCEC for Fashion Week duties. I urged Penguin for us to finally visit the expo halls and look at possible suppliers for our planned business (will tell you more about it later on). Alas, the last visiting hour struck when we arrived, and thus could only visit whatever boots were left open. But still. Anyway, Chezka and Leon went their way and we decided to meet back during the night for dinner before the Vivienne Westwood show.

Now onto it. Well, I can't exactly say I'm a big fan, but I definitely appreciate the medieval-inspired collection. There were lots of layers in contrasting prints and fabrics; lots of tulle, structured jackets, floral. Every look that came on the runway is an artwork, most definitely intriguing, and overall fascinating. I did my best to capture every look but my camera failed me. Had to steal these few shots from Penguin, but I guess he'll be posting his own coverage on his blog sometime soon too so go there and check it out - www.pvnguin.com

Anyway, this is the last part of my HKFW series. Hope you enjoyed the photos I shared with ya'll so far, if it isn't too little/too less. Cheers!
