Tribal and Cropped
Hello cyberspace! Did you miss me?
Well, with me constantly flooding your Instagram feed? I doubt it.
Though I'd still like to apologize for being AWOL on this blog for a while - haven't had the time to shoot new photos to share with you all with my ever unstable schedule, juggling work and life duties, and the rain constantly pouring on top of it all. It's safe to say the previous week went by like a whirlwind and hereby undocumented.
But... this week's looking a little better, work and weather-wise. I'm crossing my fingers for it to be.
As it is.
I've prepared for the warmer days yet to come by acquiring a few basic cropped tops, including the one I'm wearing. Had this been a trend two years ago, I wouldn't be caught dead in it. Well, who knew right? I think I'm finding in myself a new level of confidence and that I now dare to wear bolder pieces (you can see the rest on my Instagram @misscarlaviolet). Paired it with a tribal printed skirt and topped off with my go-to denim jacket for when the sun disappears and the evening breeze sets in.
Now talk to me, how is your week so far?
Cool! And yes we missed you.

Well I had been absent too so that's ok. LOL I looooooove this look! I am enamored with crop tops, but they came in style just as I got pregnant so I couldn't really wear them. Great skirt and sunnies too!
ReplyDeleteNice skirt !
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE this outfit of yours! I like the necklace, but the main standout piece is that awesome skirt! The print is beautiful <3
