Into the night

In Penguin's rolling pursuit of lowlight photography out of utter curiosity, we found ourselves on the streets shooting for an outfit post in the middle of the night. By standards, I would not have agreed to this though, clearly, the result just opened up a whole new possibility in that I now don't have to worry about not being able to shoot for outfit posts in broad daylight. Suddenly vehicle headlights are a backdrop of interest and there's about so much we can do with what illumination sidewalks and street lamps bring.
These were taken a few nights ago down Penguin's apartment dinner prior. I was having a bit of that icky feeling what with the weather being humid and dry so I didn't want to wear anything thick in case it became hot, but also didn't wan't to get caught off guard in case it got chilly so I casually threw on this newly acquired Monki coat over my cropped tank top and and peplum skirt. Didn't bother with stockings but to be safe, I also brought a thick shawl to serve as a blanket for when needed. Smart, innit?
Anyhow, thoughts? Leave 'em down below.

These night photos are incredible, so good you are able to experiment and can get great shots without daylight :)
ReplyDeleteI think the addition of the cosy scarf was a great idea in case the weather turned cold! :) Looks nice with your outfit too :)
