I always thought of a perfect peasant top to be in white until I came across this brown number, making me change my mind entirely. I'm immediately transported to the west the moment I laid my eyes on it. Cowboys, horses, wide-brim hats and whatnot. The lace-up detail on the collar is what particularly caught my attention. And the fact that it's slightly oversized makes it breezy enough to be worn under scorching heat.

Hand in hand I got this baby doll romper dress from the same store. I hadn't originally thought of buying it as a pair but seeing as they compliment each other put together in an outfit on top of being versatile each on its own gives me all the more reason to buy them both. There a few more others that I can't wait to don and share with you in upcoming posts so stay with me.

Meanwhile, here's the result of my latest hair-treatment malfunction yet. Let's just say I chose a very shiny silver shade to be applied to my then bleached mane, only for it to turn into a dark ash brown, and then lighter, and lighter. I swear I had darker strands a few days ago. Who knows what colour my hair will turn into a few weeks from now. But then I guess I'll get bored or annoyed and just get another treatment.
