All That Brown

Checking in from beautiful Amsterdam! It's only been a mere two days but already I'm loving this city. The people, the bicycles, the vibrant atmosphere... oh and the stairs! I don't know why but I've taken a fancy on the outdoor stairs of cute little Dutch buildings. If I lived here you bet you'd always find me perched on one of these stairs with a drink on hand and just chilling. I've seen some locals do it and I can imagine how laid back the lifestyle is here. The weather is just how I imagined a perfect European fall should be; sunny with the cold wind blowing. If only we had this kind of weather in Macau, I'd be too excited to wake up everyday and dress for it.

Of course I was very much eager to get my layering game going. So some browns over blacks, a bomber and a coat, mandatory low-heeled ankle boots, and my new ash hairdo to take on the city. I don't feel like a tourist at all. With how all the people here dress up, I think I belong!
