Summer Blues

Bring on the heat! I've got the perfect one-alls to beat it with, thanks to Zara. This brand hit me hard last week when its Venetian store went on sale and was caught off guard. Two trips down and I'm out with two pairs of brogues and this denim romper. Can you blame me when the red labels are out? Suddenly I have the power to hear clothes and shoes calling out to me.

That said, you've probably seen the said brogues on my instagram (@misscarlaviolet). But if you must know, I've been living these black ones ever since acquisition. I don't regret having bought them along with another pair in nude because not only do they go with pretty much everything, they're also really comfy. Really worth the purchase.

On styling notes, I felt my chest a little flat and bare (literally) what with the low neckline of this jumper so I accessorised with a bandana as a choker/scarf to fill the space up. Had my hair up in a half bun, something that I've gotten fond of doing to my hair lately, put of a pair of my all-time favourite round sunglasses and voila, I'm all set for the day.

Anyhow, what are your plans for weekend? I'm thinking of doing a major closet clean up and possibly sell some of my stuff that I no longer use, like what I did last year. Hopefully I'll be able to do all that in one day so that I still have time to chill out come Sunday. What do you think? Any plans for this weekend? Tell me all about it below.
