Jeju Blues
Finally, I am able to check in. Hello, beautiful people. I hope you still remember me. This is by far the longest that I haven't posted ever since I started blogging regularly and I have no excuses. Honestly, it's just been a whirlwind of a month; back to back events after events, projects, trips; work has pretty much consumed my whole being that I had was enough time to sleep and recover some energy, only to wake up the next day and continue with where I left off at work. But that's quite over... for now.
As I type, I'm sitting in in our AirBNB here in Sydney, taking a break from all the work madness. Yep, that's right, I'm in Australia! I really needed a break from reality and this trip was something I've been looking forward to for a while now so I'm so really happy to just be here and relax.
But before I share with you my stories from here, lets get back to that time that I was n Jeju for work just two weeks ago because I haven't really had the chance to share the remaining photos with you guys.
I liked Jeju for the most part; it's quiet island and seemed like a peaceful place to live in. Even though my trip to Jeju was for work, I took every opportunity that I got to go out and see the city like how I would if I was on a personal trip, even if that meant having to wake up really early in the morning before I had to start work. I just liked having the time to myself and pretend that I was there on vacation.
These were taken on one of those days there that I remember just so clearly. It was a chilly day but the sun had so much promise for a good day. Well, it rained just as I started walking away from the hotel that I was staying at. But that didn't stop me from pursuing my plans for the morning. I had in mind to see another part of the area that we're staying at and take photos much more that I did the previous day. Got myself a cup if starbucks; my morning coffee aka tripod. I was feeling rather happy with myself being able to take nice photos with just my iPhone and a coffee cup. And I just smiled at every passer by who gave me funny looks because I know I looked ridiculous. But it's all good.
Anyhow, I'm about to go to bed soon as I'm still trying to catch up on some sleep because I haven't been sleeping well for this whole month. I'm really just going to be relaxing in this whole trip, possibly head to the beaches around here when it gets warmer, and just take it all in.
Talk to you again soon! And I will try my very best to catch up with you guys more regularly starting next month. For now, bear with me. I still love you guys.
xo, Carla
