Electric Blue

I went a little crazy on shopping the sales at Zara this past week that I went to the store three times and every single time I went home with a few new stuff. Can't help it when all the trendy items have red tags on them!

This top and jeans I'm wearing are both new additions to my closet from said shopping madness and I really like that the top is fancy but not too out there. I can wear it to the office on regular days or I can also wear it to travel because despite the colour, it's rather versatile. I can dress it down with jeans as shown, or I can dress it up with a pencil skirt and heels if needed. 

I haven't been this crazy about womenswear trends in a really long time and frankly I'm also quite surprised. I think it's the heat and as much as I don't want to trade my streetwear ensembles for anything else, most of the streetwear pieces that I own are really more for the cooler seasons. So here I am grabbing the next comfiest things which are the not-so-basic basics like these wide-legged jeans. I bought a lot more (if you follow my stories on IG, you'd know what I'm talking about), and can't wait to style them all and share with you guys so stay tuned.
