Street Element
There's so much pretty places in Macau that I can think of as a backdrop for photos but honestly, I'm not a huge fan of going there at odd hours to beat the crown. These past months I've taken a liking to shooting just about anywhere - the streets, even the construction areas down Penguin's building or mine. And I think I've grown to love making use of street elements to my advantage in taking outfit photos.
These were taken at a construction area nearby my apartment building. Frankly, the place was dusty allover and it was just a mess, but it's funny how sometimes these things turn out really cool in photos with the right lighting and enough post-processing. I've a huge fan of Adobe Lightroom in case you're wondering what software I use - it can definitely transform one boring image to the mood of your liking.
This is one of my ultimate summer weekend combo (next to oversize tees and whatnot) - a tiny top, perhaps cropped or even a bikini top, and wide-legged trousers. You can never go wrong. Wore this to an afternoon stroll after Penguin and I did our shoot for H&M Studio which, speaking of, I can't wait to share the final campaign images with you guys this week. Stay tuned ya'll!
Cheers,
Carla
