Hello, Stranger!

Hello, strangers! It's been a good couple of days, eh? I'm currently in Incheon (Seoul), South Korea for work and while I hoped to have this corner of cyberspace updated, time's just a luxury I can't afford these days. So little time, so much to do, gosh!

Anyways, let's get into the outfit first, shall we? Essentially what I wore on my birthday last weekend. I'm not a traditionalist but I do like wearing red on my special days when I get the chance. You know, it's a lucky colour in Chinese, and for Filipinos, it's just something that I always hear my relatives say whenever there's a birthday celebration, the celebrant is always the one in red. So yep, that's me.

The past two years or so, I was always away on my birthday so this time when I was able to find my way out of another business trip that was due on my birthday weekend, I knew I had to do something. So I got a suite at the Venetian (don't judge, it's a pretty common thing that we do here in Macau), and did a sweet little suite party with people dearest to me. But of course, besides having the suite, there were preparations to be made so in between sorting out the food and booze for the night, Penguin and I managed to snap these shots about. 

Speaking of Penguin - huge shoutout to my main who's always supporting everything that I do! He pretty much organised the whole party for me because ironically, while I coordinate events for a living, I don't actually know how to throw a proper birthday party because I rarely ever celebrated my birthdays. I'm always either travelling or just doing intimate dinners with my family so... thank you, if you're reading this, I love you baby!

Anyway, I'll be back to Macau next week but I can't promise any travel visuals / VLOG this time around. Where we're staying at in Incheon is in the middle of nowhere with nothing around to see, at all! Seoul is an hour away by train but the only time we're able to go there is at night and is only for a couple of hours so I haven't been able to take really good photos save for a few with my phone. But we'll see how it goes.
